How It All Started
For generations the Myers family has worked on the family farm in Lexington, NC. In 1999, this family tradition led Michael Myers to start working for a local landscaping business, eventually inspiring him to start his own company. Sixteen years later, Michael relocated to Durham, NC, to continue his entrepreneurship, creating works of timeless value that honor the visions that have inspired him for years.
Boasting years of experience spanning multiple generations, hard work, and dedication, TerraScapes recalls an earlier era when working with the land was a skill acquired through years of hard work and apprenticeship. Michael understands the gritty nature, as well as the aesthetic spirit of landscaping - as only a dedicated professional can. Michael R. Myers, Managing-Member, has over 20 years of construction experience which ranges from sales to project management. Michael started working in the construction industry while in high school as a summer job and has continuously been involved in the hardscape industry his entire working career. As a result, he has worked with a number of commercial and residential construction firms, all of whom have played a key role in his development of TerraScapes.
